Hello, Reader,
This month has been much better than the previous one—those of you who have been subscribers for a while know what I’m talking about! The TLDR is that we spent the holidays and part of January in and out of the hospital and dealt with major house issues, including a truly horrible sewer issue. So the bar was pretty low.
Here are the highlights from this month:
- We started welcoming new future authors into my six-month program, Idea-to-Draft! The cohort starts in April and we have six spots left. If you’d like to explore joining, I invite you to schedule a free clarity call—we’d love to explore your book idea with you.
- I finished my book proposal draft at a hefty 20K+ words, and I’ll be sending it out to agents starting next week (!).
- I got my passport just in time for a trip to London, where our wonderful marketing coordinator, Rita, and I will be attending the London Book Fair. (If you’re in London and interested in joining a meetup there, let me know! I’m considering organizing one.)
- My husband finally, finally got online access to renew his very-expired residency here in Portugal. It’s been such a mess immigration-wise, and he hasn’t been legally allowed to leave the country.
I’m just . . . happy. Life is really good right now.
