Hi, Reader,

I spent last week in the UK, first in Edinburgh, then in London. This is my third holiday season visiting the UK. I loved getting to spend part of December in both locations.

In London, I did a workshop on How to Write a Book to Scale Your Brand, and as I walked around the workshop, listening in on conversations between partners, listening to discussions in multiple languages, hearing the beautiful variety of accents, it struck me:

My vision of global impact, born fifteen years ago while living in the Dominican Republic, has become a reality.

There I was, standing in London, having traveled in from Edinburgh by train, having flown in originally from my home in Portugal—me. An Idaho girl, the one who had never left the continent until nearly twenty-four years old. The one who grew her business as a side hustle while teaching high school language arts full time. The woman who has fought through some extraordinary personal struggles to keep moving toward a vision of impact.

As we close the year, it’s important to celebrate. In this newsletter, I celebrate our authors constantly and the collective impact our team is making. Today, I want to take a moment to tip my hat to younger me and the bright-eyed vision I held that I’m now living.

What about you? What is one thing you’re celebrating as we close 2024? Hit reply and share—I love hearing from you.

Featured author: Regina Lawless, published earlier in the year

On the note of celebration, today I want to celebrate an author who continues to inspire me: Regina Lawless.

Watching her journey unfold has been incredible to witness. From the dedication she showed while writing her book, Do You, to seeing her grace stages as an in-demand speaker, Regina is making a true impact on the world through her work!

Get your copy of her powerful book.

Here’s what Regina had to say about our work together:

“Becoming an author is truly a dream come true that still feels surreal. I’m trying to figure out how to take it all in. Stacy, I keep referring people your way because you truly helped this book come together, from idea to reality. I’m forever grateful.”—Regina Lawless

Writing tip

Let your work sit for as long as possible. It’s hard to “objectively” edit something when it’s still fresh in your mind.

That’s it for this week! Have suggestions? Want to say hey? Hit reply—I love hearing from you!
